6000 dead?

Hello I have a 6000 ird that was converted to BEV about 6 month ago. Lately I have been having problems with it. First the power would not come on so I unplugged it and it was fine. Then the light started blinking for a whole day. I unplugged it again and I noticed that the fan was not on. I now have no power at all. I have tried to Jtag it and it gets no info from the ird like the power supply went bad. When I plug it in I hear something but no light or power. Any ideas? Oddcircuits wants $150 just to find out what is wrong. Is there any other option?

I have four 6000's. I've read about the power supply problem,
never heard it discussed or your symptons. But you defintely have no power.
Service on SD's are around $70, while HD starts at $90 for the Motorola HD's.
Can you get it all done for $150? Could't verify work down by oddcircuts,
or find them, what s the full name?
Do a search at id, you'll find the power supply topic discussed in major detail.
If you can get the part, & solder, is another alternative.
