I just recently got my first ever Dp301-013 and I already have a Dp301-010 which i havent tried to use with any type of cards yet. My question is does any of these IRD's work with a ROm 3 card. I tried to use it with my Dp301-13 it kept saying its not meant to work with this reciever i tried the same card with a 3700 works just fine.no problems.. DO i need to get a rom 10 or Atmega to use it both of my IRD's..

Thanks

The -013 will prolly need vid modded to set 7FFFFFAC to 0000 to enable blue card use.
The -010 should noy be a problem.

I got it recently but it is not the new ones...it has a build config of DASA. I am going to try it with Rom 10 and see what it does but ...does it make a difference or period if its a 301-13 it will need a vid mod for me able to use Blue cards or Atmega..

Thanks for replying...

DASA will require vid modded, if it has not already been done, jtag and read 7FFFFFAC and see what it is.

Read the ird with jkeys. Go into Flash Programing a read address 7FFFFFAC If this says 0000 then it is good to go with any blue card. If it says D500 and is a single tsop it will have to have a vid-mod done to change it. If it says 0000 and you are getting the nag check your box keys and such

I am so sorry i should have mentioned that it is a single TSOP and that i was able Jtag it and back up the TSOP and Epprom fine. however, i need to check the flash programming part before i do anything further...

Thanks guys for replying to it...
