First time issue in 501

I got this 501 that the board revision is not the same in Jkeys. I have tried to erease the eeprom and load the right bin for the board and nothing! It don't matter how many times I erease the eeprom, it just won't erease, it was a refurb unit with the plastic wrapper and all but I don't understand why the SOB won't let me erease it. Any ideas guys? Thanks!

You can't erase the eeprom........if you are referring to the tsops(flash chips) then OJ1 may have to be jumped to allow erasing, if the chips are GT then a vid mod will be required.
