Hi! If you go into parental control the channel edit I believe you can move channels around to where you want to.
myself I saved to favorites the channels I watch most .
Or you could try STb gtools to edit them as well.

What sats are you viewing and what type lnbs do you use? I may have a channel list that has all dish channels match up the same in your receiver.

What type of lnbs did you buy? Are they dishnetwork lnbs? Does it have Dishpro written in black on it? I've got a legacy list but if you have dual lnbs you will want 110 and 119. If you have a twin legacy dual lnbs it will not work on your receiver. If you have dishpro lnbs you will need a dishpro channel list. Pick up a copy of the channel list in the 10th post in the thread of the attached link.

I installed a Pansat2500A two days ago and have Dish 500 with Legacy Dual LNBs. For 110 and 119 it WILL work with this Receiver. I also have a 30" Dish with KU Lnb or SAT 121 to get the 22 Chinese Channels for my wife. Of course lots of other channels too!
I did a SCAN and then arranged channels to my liking in the FAV Lists, like all Chinese on One FAV and all PPV on another.
But if you have a channel list that includes everything in order for all three birds (110, 119, 121) which is current, I'd appreciate it if you sent it to me. fOr tell me how to use the Legacy list in your link and add the 121 channels to it. Thanks.

Thanks for the list, and ignore my angry reply to your PM. But realize my intent was not to do what you accused me of doing.

hound, I was just perusing the forums and saw your post, I just set up a pansat 2500a with dishpro dual lnb's. I have set it up for 110 and 119 but only get the vertical transponders, any suggestions. Thanks, Cap

You need a dishpro list captain. The legacy list can be converted into a dishpro list by channel master editing tool with one click of the tool bar button for each sat you want to convert. The dishpro lnbs require a channel list be loaded to the receiver that is specifically designed to be used with them. Here is a 110 and 119 dishpro channel list. This should get you fixed up. Load with gtools and be sure to set your antenna settings in your receiver to match your setup.

jcghound: This is just feedback on the legacy 110 119 121 Channel List I downloaded and used. It kept the channels for dish pretty good, but I lost quite a few Chinese Channels that I once had. It seems the list is short of TPs. There are quite a few Chinese Channels on TP 17, 20 and 27. The list has none of these TPs. Do you have another List???
I'm doing a SAT Scan of 121 right now but am not coming up with my missing channels so far. ???

try doing a tp scan bro and scan direct to the lnb without going through your switch.
you can also go lyngsat and pick up the channel info such as sid, video and audio pids and entered them on your list with gtools or channel master and reload the list.
the channels you are looking for may have purposely been omitted by the person who was intending to construct a dish gtd. file.

OK, I'll try a scan without going thru the switch. I did it with the switch but it didn't find the half-dozen or so I'm missing which are all major Chinese channels like Beijing, Shanghai, Guondong, Hunan, CCMOV, CCOPR, and Fujian. We have a lot of snow right now so I'll wait until some of it disappears, LOL. Thanks.

Until the snow disappears you may want to to a little research on lyngsat and get the necessary info you need and manually add these channels to your channel list. Adding channels to an existing list is not that difficult with gtools. Finding the info is the hardest part. If you know the sat and tp that carry the channels, that is the place to start. I was not aware that these sats even carried the channels you mentioned, but then again I focus on dish and local channels.

Here is a link to the pansat testing manual that will tell you step by step how to load the channel bin goonto as well as the other things you need to know to get your pansat running. Pick it up in the 4th post in the thread to the attached link. Current bin files are X-85BL 237 rev041202 or the X-85Bl 240 bin. The later bin works the same as the 237 bin and it contains progy that will allow you to arrange your dish channels in dish order in your box.
