i have a dish 500 with one lnb for 119 and one lnb for 110 ! with one 4 in 1 DISEQC SWITCH . i am running one cable from the 110 lnb to the sat 1 in switch and a seperate cable to the sat 2 119 then one cable from the out on the switch to the reciever is this the correct way to hook them up i am having a heck of a time hitting the signal but with just 119 i can get that with no problems i am using a dishnetwork dp 301 reciever to try to get the signal then hook it in to my pansat 2500 a my second question should i just use the pansat to get the signal would it be esier and what are the settings thanks alot and have a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR :)

the dtv lnbs are the most compatible lnbs for the free to air receivers, that is the ones without the built in switches, on the dish 500 with a y bracket take a carpet or utility knife and tream the catch at the bottom where the lnbs fit into the y ,do not tream the one on the top that is where the screw goes to hold the lnbs !
