Hi islanyute,

I had the same problem last night but we didn't loose electric.
In the middle of a program i got scrambled or bad channel...
Now I don't get any of the dish programming?

Anyone Else having problems??

I fixed my problem,
First, I checked my signal and quality they were both normal.
I don't know what happened but I shut down the receiver
for an hour and turned it back on, everything started working
again. (pansat 2500)

That happens a lot when you use cheap SW21 switches. Just shut off and turn on and the "bad or scrambled" channel usually comes in if you have a signal. I added Sat121 two days ago and changed to the 4 in, 1 out DiseQ switch. I no longer have that problem and am getting almost 900 channels.

The sw21 switch just will not work with the fta receivers period. The receivers can not recognize or control the switch. Do not use them for fta receiver's dish setup.

I got a pansat 2500A a that's runnning the 236 bin and working 4 legacy channel list. I have it connected to two DTV dishes and I'm using a diseqc 2.0 switch. For some reason some of my channels show up either as scramble or bad channel or they freeze alot. If i use a different bin file to flash my pansat will this help to solve my problem. i prfer to keep the wprking 4 legacy channel list because it lines the channels up directly with dish. where can i find the latest bin for the pansat? much thanks

Hi! It should be in the download section,if your having some nags with current bin
could be worth changing ,I had 235 bin then started getting nags so I went to Al7bar read a bit about the 237 bin,so I did a factory reset then flashed with Blacklist X85BL 237 bin ,been working good since other than weather stuff..good luck....
