Well, someone said this story should go into the humor section... so here it is:
X-mas morning. My wife is down stairs watching TV while I'm still in bed. All in a sudden, the channels start to change. She yells up stairs thinking I'm awake. I walk down and she tells me to stop messing with the remote. I told her I was sleeping. I walk into the living room and I see the channels changing. I see both remotes... the dog isn't laying on it and the kid is still in bed. After about 2 minutes, it stopped. I didn't think nothing of it so I went about my day. Later that night, we're watching TV and the channels start to change again. I asked my wife to stop and go back, she says she doesn't have the remote. Check the dog and kid... both are laying down. Both remotes are still in site. Again, it stops in about 2 minutes so I think nothing of it.
A whole day goes by, nothing happens.... until Monday night. We're sitting back watching Fear Factor and the channels start to change. Now, i'm thinking back to when I read that the UHF remotes work a long way. Wait a minute... we have a UHF remote for our 501!! Hmmm, now I'm thinking someone in the hood just got Charlie for X-mas. Cool! Now I'm not the only one in the hood who switch from Dave to Charlie.
Now, instead of stopping in 2 minutes, it keeps changing... and changing... and changing. I try to change back.... it keeps going. At this point, they probably figured out the same thing I did... someone is controlling ours and we can control theirs. At one point, after watching what they were doing... I think they figured they would have some fun and mess with whoever they can control. After about 40 mins, I decided to walk outside and see what neighbor got Charlie. Well, slap my ass and call me Sally... it's the neighbors I don't get along with.... well their kid at least. Little punk think he owns the hood. Anyway... the fun begins.
I walk back into the house and turn our sub off. After buying PPV and "other" channels a few times in my life, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I wanted to welcome them to the Charlie community in my own special way. I sat outside their house and pressed 492. For those of you that don't know what channel 492, it's the heart of the hard core porn channels. 1 click here, another there... and bam, I gave them a little x-mas gift they'll never forget. From what I know when I went back inside, it was a little double pent on some biker chick. I'm not sure if their 9 year old son was watching... but what a way to learn about the birds and the bees.
