i was hooking up pansat dis-q switch was originally getting satellite 110 about 290 channels strapped another lnb next to original lnb and hooked it all up went inside to program satellite 119 and pansat had shut off i have investigated best i can, it just shuts off when you connect to satellite cable. i have went back to original setup but i get the same thing pansat will be on and you make final connection and it almost like it gets to much voltage.

Hi! check to see that all your wires have good clean connections, when you hook another cable onto disqc switch try and have your unit power off while you connect the switches are touchy.
try using 110 set to 22khz to on and 119 22khz set to off.
if you have a 4x1 disqc switch try a different input.
good luck...

Ok, I am going to ask the dumb question....You are not using a dual head lnb as one of your lnbs in combination with another single lnb are you? If you are strapping an lnb onto another, they both need to single lnbs and any strapping needs to be of a nonconductive type material such as electrical tape, plastic tie straps etc. An insulating type material between the lnbs will also help. At this point your diseqc switch is most likely fried and I would suggest changing it out pronto. I have seen a senario such as what you are describing that the receiver would run direct from the lnbs but would not run through the diseqc switch, it turned out the dude had strapped a dual head twin legacy to a mounted single and the sw21 switch in this situation was trying to pull too much lnb power and was causing the unit to shut off.
