And dont forget to patch the system with the latest bins and keys
The dish and the reciever are independant of each other. Once you have the sat position fixed, all you require from there and in the future is to have the reciever able to decode the signal.
In the case of the DG6800/7000 they are the practically the same machine inside (in what aspects that matters), and the software/data updates to either are the same.

We have the Digiwave 7000, we have flashed it using the the digiwave dg6800-003 bin file, and all the channels are still scrambled. The burn was good, are we missing something as we are very new to this. Would it be possible for somebody to go step by step with us to get this issue resolved? We are only getting 2 free to air channels but a lot of the radio stations are working!

Go to system settings and press red button on your remote. It will give you menu for differnt satellite proivder. Select appropriate provider as per your requirments then rescan the channel. YOu will be ok.

Okay, if you have followed instructions that I have posted in http://www.dssftp.com/forum/upload/showthread.php?t=35838 and you still get scrambled channels there is a possibility of a fix
Now once you have enetered into the 'key editor' (system settings + press 1004, red button icon will appear - press red button to enter editor) make sure for both provider 0001 and 0101 you enter the latest keys from http://bellexpress.vu for dishnet.
I dont know why both providers require this key but, when i do it to my system, it works great. Maybe in reality charlie is 0001 and bev is 0101. All i know is that when i got my box home, I entered for provider 0101 (presumed charlie) and the channels kept saying scrambled, i then also added the same key for provider 0001 and it worked....
If that does not work, let your box stay on (not in standby mode) and update the keys that are in the stream 2-45 min.
I at the moment also experience a scrambled message time to time when hitting channels. Now I click on the channel again and it shows up. Its all about the stream and how the reciever handles it. At times I will go to a working channel and then flip back to the scrambled channel and it will work. Its all about what packets the DG6800/7000 needs to start to descramble.
good luck!
