Need suggestions. I have a 30 inch dish with KU LMB. Trying to find sat 97. I found the signal, I beleive, with my signal finder but I can't get any signal reading on my receiver witch is Fortec Ultalife. I then tryed to pick up the 119 sat which I found with my signal meter but I still don't get any signal on the receiver. I even hooked the receiver back on to my dish 500 and my signal is strong and the receiver reads the signal. Are there different settings that I have to use on the reciever? Any help would be appreciated. :) :)

Hi! to get 97w in menu antenna setup set the Tp on 11898 ,I use that one to get signal.
And make sure your LNB polarity is as close as you can get it.if your on east coast the polarity will be counter clockwise and polarity on west coast is clockwise.

Thanks xwolfs7. We found the bird, but we are only getting a signal on one transponder and that would be 11929. When we scan for channels there is nothing on it. Any suggestions? The best signal I can pull in is about 65%.

Hi! make sure your mast is as plum as can be and adjust your polarity as close as you can,I used Tp 11898 to get a lock on 97w nice strong Tp.
I think I am getting over 100 channels on 97w.
