Need to change "Remote Address: 2" to 1

My ird is set to 2 so my remote wont work on it. Can someone post an address where I can get how to change it back so I can use my remote?

this is how it works with my 301. Hold down sat button till it stays red. select your number, in your case i believe it's 2 and press #. the remote light should flash, then press record. Your remote # should have changed on the system info screen now.

Thanks but no go. I had someone walk me through it a while back but can't get ahold of him and don't remember. The thing I do remember is that it took sometime to switch it back.

The remote guides can be found at the link skinerd posted above too can't they? They're somehwere pretty near that url for sure. You need the manual for the remote not the receiver.

Yeah, you don't need the remote manual for much, but they sure come in handy for certain things.
