S-video

Hi, I have 3100 running and a 5100, I notice the 3100 has a better picture,I think, than the 5100. Are the IRD's different in S-video or should they appear the same on TV
Are all S-video cables the same or do you get what you pay for.

I also notice, when I get a e-mail notice from this forum, if I click on the url in the e-mail it comes back,

You get what you pay for up to a certain point. Then you're paying for ingenious marketing and fancy packaging, ie. Monster Cables. There's lots of decent quality cables available for a lot cheaper. UltraLink is a good brand at a decent price.
