I'm switching from bev to dishnet using a rom3. I have been trying some different
things with romtier maker and tcfd-iiv. I keep getting ecmed with "serious problem detected" ID location 0000001. I'm testing a 2800 receiver with 795 firmware.
I've read that installing locks on 2800's isn't the best thing to do because alot of them won't update after the installation. I don't read about alot of people with the same problem so it is probably something I'm doing wrong or not doing at all.

Any help would be appreciated.

Testing dish is alot more complicated than bev.

Thanks

I would change the Cam ID.. first.. the make sure your PPV id are not to spread out..sounds like you need a good camID for a rom3..if your running locks
I would turn them off.. sometimes they are tarted..

you said you were running a 2800 ird.. your firmware should be ok if your doing a SA5 erase and update.. without locks..after the ecm..

good luck

Thanks for the advice. I have been reading some other posts and it does sound like it is my cam#. It is a dishnet rom3 card I'm programming so I have been using the original cam#from it . I figured it would be ok. Maybe not.
