ok i am using a power supply that is rated at 300 milliamps
and am curious if i got a better one like 800 or so if this would
help? i have only been able to get 1 rom 10 to open and have tried everything
to get others open like the vcc and opening up delays etc., if any1 thinks this
could be a problem let me know, that is the only thing i haven't tried yet
It certainly might. I think there was a bit of difference when glitching with a 500 or 800 mA power supply when glitching HU's, and that is likely the case with Nagra roms as well. I use a 800mA wall wart myself.

The loaders use a 7805 voltage regulator which causes about a .3-.5 VDC drop internally. Lets say your ps2 power has 5.2 VDC less .3 drop= loader running on 4.9. This will probably work fine, Now ps 2 at 5.0 and .5 drop, Loader has 4.5, Most likely problems now as voltage is low. This is where the external power source helps. The 7805 regulator can take up to approx the low 30 volt range and regulate it to the required 5 volts, So basically any power adapter from 6 volts up would do the same thing, Just don't go higher than the 7805 can handle on it's input side. 300 MA is a little low, More currunt output like 800 can help keep it's voltage more stable under load. Do make sure to get the polarity correct on the external adaptor.

Here are some of the things they try. Whatever program you use try varing the voltage-forgot to ask are you using a variable PS say 1.5-12v? People depending on their loader and program the use vary the voltage anywhere from 6-12v. The loader a is a big key. Most are using modded ones-a favorite is the T-911 modded. In the programs you can play with delay settings and glitching. The cp and O/S play a part in this also. People with say the same loader but different O/S and the program they use will get different results. Rom10s just like any other Rom card could act differently 25% of the time-the other 75% almost anyone can get into. You said you did one Rom10 did you write down all the #s the loader and program used to get in? Things like that you have to keep track of, then when you try another Rom 10 with the same loader,cp and program you use those settings to start with. This is really testing and could be time consumming.Thats what its all about.

yeah i kept track of the setting when the first one unlocked
and have been using settings the same or varing a little
been letting this card run for days and no go i am getting a good
flow of 6f and ff etc. so i got new ower supply see if that helps

Don't lock yourself to any setting just because 1 card opened at that. I have yet myself to see 2 cards pop at the same settings, They seem to be all over the place. Start your delay low, I use 1180. Let it run, I still have some cards that take hours to reopen.

Oh, If you watch it they don't open :) Just kidding, Let it run overnight or so, When you come back it will be open.

Set the trys per delay to 400, Use the vcc program to find your vcc settings, Use the full range that give you 100 percent. Every card I popped took at least 250 per delay to pop, So setting that lower may skip the one that works. At least in my setup here. Mik3 with N8.

Yea as birdie said setting your delay might pic a better place-it will run longer searching-as mentioned let run overnight. Doing just one card doesn't give you foolproff numbers for every card. Its a trial and error thing.

i usually set my # of tries per delay to about 1000 and have let it run
for a day and still notta
the 1 i got to open was at vcc 76 delay 1236
on the other cards i get a good 60 40 of 6f ff at the vcc ranges of 78 to 74
so that is what i use
i donno why they won't pop

I have popped cards above 127E, actually most of them pop above that setting, all the way to 123C I believe, don't be afraid to go low on the delay as birdie suggested, or high on the delay as I suggested, Glitch analyzer is key. use the settings glitch analyzer gives you with the powersynce unlocker, she will pop, haven't found on that wouldn't yet. and birdie is right, as soon as I turn my head from the script running over to the tv to watch a show, it pops.
