right side of c44 is only giving me .5 - 1.8 volts, anyone have any ideas as to why?

With or without the vid mod components connected?? If it is with them connected you prolly don't have them connected right, use the 7812 regulator and not the resistor diode method, works much better.

no components attached. Volt meter to ground and right side of c44 reads .5V, Is it nessessary to draw power from this point? can power be supplied externaly?
