Those erase sectors are getting a little old. You "DO" need to update them. I found yesterday SA7 is current for P229 301.010 Tsop1 (flash1).

SA61 is for current 501 flash2.

I repaired two single chip 301.13's yesterday and they both stream updated to P204.

What not try and install a pushbutton to do the JYD. I have found that you have a lot less trouble if you can just push a button, rather than playing around with jkeys and possibly erasing the whole flash, in which case you'll probably have to do the vid mod to restore the original. Just a thought.

I don't know what the rhyme or reason to it is. How bout you? I assume you've had the same inconsistancies I've had with the firmware on 301.13's??? You do a lot more of this than I do, so your opinion will be most appreciated.

I have two 13's running right now. Receiver 1 took an update (it was at P204) and after the update - P204. :rolleyes:

Receiver #2 was at P204 - after update - X201. :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

My 301-13 signle got hit yesterday and i streamed it back to P204 then i let it sit in stream with power off and it took that P205 update. Working fine with atmega but will get thit again if the ECM comes back so i pull the card when not in use for the time being.

I have herad of some downgrades to X201, in the past it was said that if you had the comerical sports tier on your card it would downgrade you to X201. Not sure how ture that is.
