Can someone verify the following. I have read somewhere that you can actually recover from : location ID 00000001 on DP 301.10 by shorting 2 points on the receiver. By connecting P293 and ground it for a few seconds. the receiver will blink a few times reboots itself and get the update from the stream. Can anyone verify this and has it work ?

Pad R293 side closest to tsop chip to ground while powered up in the stream with no card, Hold for about 13 seconds, You want about 2 seconds after the power light turns off. Works like a charm. Ird will blink power light a few times and light back on, about 5-10 minutes light will flash steady on and off then reboot and ready to rock n roll again.
