3000 help please...

Since this ecm killed my 2700 I read that it was not looking for a 3000 reciever and lit one up that was in the closet, using mc2, only get dn freebe channels.

Software version is 747PBA-JA, is there a more current verion I need and will this reciever still update from the stream?

In the menus it says it must be switched off to update which I have done but am I barking up the wrong tree?

Have you ever did a junkyard fix to this ird(3000), if you did would you please
tellme how? or how you get tsop back ?

Well it did update to 836PBAJA-N, now it won't go past 015 (Acquiring sat sig). When I read sysinfo the cam is all 0's, nothing under "Dish 500 ready". Yes I did a switch test too. I have reprogrammed the mc2 twice now, no change.

The plot thickens, any one still using this relic?

Galaxi, I remove the tsop to read/write it.

ok, called a friend that is running yellow card in a 3k and software is at 836. looks like support is in the stream since I got the 836 update in short order. At this point with mc2 my cam id is all 0's and it won't go past 015, Using single lnb and have unchecked the dish500 and run switch check and get good response. I have tried several camless modes not no change. Anyone have some ideas? is someone using a MC2 with a 3k? Looks like they may have locked out mc's with the current software?
