Hey Mili I was wondering if there was a way to implement a chat room into the forum..Could save on drive space...?
Then those who can help others can go there instead of filling up the forum's..

We had one once - hardly anyone used it. 001438 set up an offsite chat after we were hit - it's at EFNet, port 6667, #mili's

If there's enough renewed interest in a site chat, perhaps Mili would set up another one. Feedback, anyone ?

The only reason I didn't use the chat room we used to have here is because there was rarely anyone in there. I think the chat room is a great idea if people were to use it.

I have cable internet, so I"m usually parked in the chatroom 24/7. But as JT mentioned it is sometimes hard to find a time when anyone is in there (different work schedules, time zone differences etc...) When more than a few people are logged on, a good time is usually had by all. Everyone feel free to stop by and shoot the shit. Hopefully it'll catch on and we'll get some more heads in there. If anyone is having trouble using mIRC or finding the chatroom shoot me a PM and I'll do my best to help you out.

I would have used it and would use it if I had known where to go.

Post a link and I will add it to my favorite places.

It was cool to read a book for a change but I missed my family here and did not know where the chat room was while the site was down.

You must first download the IRC client. I use mIRC
Here'ls the link for the software.

Once you have id downloaded, Click on "Tools" menu > then go to "Options" > under the server tab you will see an IRC network dropdown box, select EFnet. Under the IRC server dropdown box select EFnet Random US server (anyone should work). Then click the "connect to server" button. Once connected to the server, type /join #mili's in the main window.
That's it.
