i have a 2800 that i could not get working affer a ecm about 3or 4weeks ago wheni tried to flash all i would get is *DEVICE ID DEVICE STI5500 NO BOXEKEYS OR IRD #S SO I TRIED TO USE FLASH EDIT 2.0 AND DO A PUBLIC DUMP. BUILD # IS CBJD SO I FOUND A CBJA FOR A 2800 AND UNZIPED TO MY DOCUMENTS.THEN OPENED FLASHEDIT2.0 AND FOLLOWED INSTRUCTIONS TO EDIT MY BOXKEYS #s & IRD#S IN REGULAR DECIMAL & IN HEX PUT CHECK MARK IN FIX CRC BOX SELECTED SAVE AS PERSONAL DUMP.THEN WENT BACK & SAVE AS EPRROM.BUT WHEN I HOOKUP JTAG AND TRIED TO READ INFO IT GAVE ME IRD# & BOXKEYS THAT IS ON SETUP PAGE R 28 6443 4397-02 BKEYS 11 22 33 44 55 66 77 88 CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHAT I DID WRONG THAT ALL THE IRD #S & BOXKEY #S I EDITED FROM MY IRD DID'T COME UP WHEN I JTAGED IRD THANKS FOR ANY HELP WITH THIS TROUBLE

sounds like you put the public dump into the ird. when your in jkeys and scouting for the dump you want put the one that has your ird number. should look something like this:

R00xxxxxxxx-3900-11AB-CLGA-11L-NP192-1
and not like this:
4900-14AB-CCBA-11H-P215

sounds like you put the public dump into the ird. when your in jkeys and scouting for the dump you want put the one that has your ird number. should look something like this:

and not like this:
4900-14AB-CCBA-11H-P215
thanks for your help i got it to work & put ird in stream updated to 832 n & location is good but when i programed mc2 says cardnot for ird & i can't get to menue all it does is give me sys info & error i belive it is 020 any help thanks trouble

Error message 020 "The card you have inserted is not valid for use in this receiver."
Problem: Wrong ird number put on card

the box keys and ird number that is on the receiver has to match the ones on the card. read the ird again with jkeys. if you still have the public numbers on the ird you have to either change them on the card or reflash a personal dump into the receiver. the correct way would be to do the receiver again.

first thanks for the allthe support & help i have a mc1 that i programed with the same numbers for ird & boxkeys it is working fine i will try another ird with mc2 card again thanks pepperone3
