trying to make sense of the sti5518 omega, it mentions the "FRAM" (Filter Ram) is loaded with the keys, and then it does a compare function, allowing/disallowing video decryption, in my interpretation, it compares from the stream 3 bits of info, and 3 bits of info from the FRAM to allow or dissallow the video to be decrypted. Am I out to lunch here??? If my interpretation is correct, can this FRAM area be accessed to change it/or bypassed in such a way it allows the video to be decrypted,,,,,,,,,,,, just an idea here, I'm no IC pro.

There's a whole lot more to it that just that.
If you are hoping this might help with N2, good luck, cause first you have to know how the signal is encrypted before you can decrypt it, just allowing the processes won't get it done. It's actually a complex process, fixing 3 or 4 bytes in the processor ain't gonna make it happen.
