Some help with a T911

Hello Friends
I need some help , right now I am in the project to mod a T911, but when I receive it plug it to my PC and 9V AC immediately to see if it works and turns on the green light, (you know in case of a devolution) when I watch for some info in the forums I found a schematic to mod the T911 when I read it in the dip switch area reads never use with all the switches ON. I ran to verify my unit and all the switches are in on position before was connected do you think I cause some damage to the unit and the other thing is about the trimer pot ,how is to set the possition of the pot ,flashed and pluged to AC with 9V with a multimeter?

no u didnt mess it up , and two you need ohm the pot out to 2.2

Remove power from the t911 & set the pot to 2.2k..Dont leave it plugged in

I have a t911 that I would like to mod to fix the rev a23 problem. When I get one of the files on how to do this and open it it comes on my screen as garbage. I can read the acrobat files but none of the jpeg mozilla files. I realize that this is probably due to my ignorance but any help would be appreciated. Thank you
