301-10 ECM - SA 3 or SA 8?

Some post say erase SA 3 for quick ECM fix and some say SA 8, is this an either or situation? Or, was one address used for ECM recovery and then the other found to be better?

I could not find a post that mentioned both addresses or what the difference is.

For the 301.10, I erase Flash 1, and put back in the stream without the card to update. That works for me.

I want to do a sector erase, I really didn't want to erase the entire flash. I've read some horror stories about restorations above my pay grade.

Since it took a while to get an answer, I erased SA 8, (since that's the one contained in BirdieMods' sig) I know his knowledge in testing very extensive.

Waiting for stream update now, but, as long as it is taking to update, maybe SA 3 was the way to go. Time will tell tho.

Or should I just start the restoration process using Wall V2?
