My 2700 that I had no problem Jtagging in the past , reports a Device ID: 0x1d4C9041 and Device: STi5500 but nothing else.
No IRD Info.
When I click on detect I get a pop up named "jKeys Error" with the message "Error reading from IRD (DCU Peek)"

I'm unable to get past this point no matter how often I try.
The IRD receives only channel 101.
Does anyone know what is causing this 'DCU Peek' ? Or where to go from here?

:(

try jumping pad one of the jtag port to ground, that may solve your problem.

Thanks, but not wanting to make a mistake, which one do you call 'pad one'?
It sounds interesting allthough I haven't seen this anywhere else and didn't have to do it in the past.

Pad#1 is the pad left of #2 when you do your Jtag. Turn the ird over with the front facing you, the jtag port and pads will be right infront of you ,read the pads left too right #1 thru #7, don't use #7.

Thanks for the help. I discovered that the ground pin on my quad Jtag (center pin of the 3 pins on the bottom) was not making contact. Replaced the pin with one of its neighbours and bingo everything is cool. :)
