vid mod ? please help

I have a dp301-013 2 tsop yellow card replaced blue one.do i need to vid mod
2tsop?or maybe my mc2 no good.cant acq. sat sig.

If you have the dual chip 301.13 you prolly don't need to do vid mod. If you needed to vid mod that IRD when you put the MC in the card slot you'd get an error 'card not compatable'. If your just not getting the IRD to acquire sat signal you may have an issue with how your programming that MC. Double check your programming the MC with the correct info. You using camless or married mode for that MC?

Ive tried it both ways thats why I think my card is bad Ive tried rom3 rom10

What does your sys info screen say? Cam id 00 00000000? If so, you prolly are not getting the password on your MC correct. If your not getting error 019 or card not detected when you try to program, your MC is probably functional. We just need to figure out what's not getting done right. What version of the MC software you using? What's your location id?

I sent my mc2 and programer back to mili today under warrenty,maybe i was wrong doing that.I try the mc2 card and programer on a dp301-10 also and
got the same reslults.If iam wrong I'll lose 25.00 but thats a lesson for me.Ive
use mc1 for a year or so with great results.But this mc2 is a challange.
