Can a 1000 be Jtagged?
If so, where do you Jtag it from?
The cut-out on the bottom of the IRD doesn't have any pads there.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you have the original subbed card that has not been fooled with and still has the sub image on it apparently you can read the boxkeys from it. But if not then plooey, also I think the software updates are no longer in the stream. I have one also and its only good for an anchor.

Climba...Yes you can but you need the f040 jtags.....the problem is that the f040 is around 300. I have three of the 1000 and are working good.

Yes, ok they are still running in some subbed systems. And they can be j-tagged with a special outlay of cash. Thank you. The remaining question is are they worth the effort and money at this point.

Jtag and 1000 receiver, kind of an oxymoron, not really but for practical purposes....
ox·y·mo·ron
n. pl. ox·y·mo·ra (-môr, -mr) or ox·y·mo·rons
A rhetorical figure in which incongruous or contradictory terms are combined, as in a
1000 IRD and a jtag.
