Can't get boxkeys??? all FF FF FF FF etc
Refebished 501 , tried several versions of jkeys 299b,5900, etc
tried OJ1
simple jtag used
p80 software (shows that in jkeys)
has 1 GT chip

Is this unit getting previews? i wouldnt think it would be getting tv and the version is too out dated, also if you can get the info screen is the ird number matching what is displayed on the screen, thinking here the unit has been flashed with bad info, you will need to do a vidmod to be able to write the tsop, is this new, used, was working,refurbed?

Also try download jkeys 301-508 you might need to set it as a 508 to retrive the numbers, even thou it is a 501.

P080 don't sound like 501 firmware, check with jkeys 301-508 and select 508 instead of 501, see what that gives.
PVR flashes come in three types, and the receive rnumber and boxkeys are stored in different locations for each type. You said it's a refurb, so who knows what you have.....
