Hey Guy's & Gal's I myself have written a rom3 unlocking guide.
Take a look @ it & let me know how it is & if it helps anyone & if it needs anything..
Its a .doc file so you might need Microsoft Word.

LOL< I didn't call it Crazy1_79's modded loader how to guide, did I? I see you have to have your name in lights! Time for a bigger hat cid, and I am going to read this guide right now. I have a rom 3 that will not pop, never seen anything like it.

holy shit cid, where did you come up with the extra delays? I am back to work on this stubborn rom 3 , 16 plus hours and no poppy, changing the setting you little rom 3 unlocking guru you!

Looks good to me. Great splainin in detail. Will go thru and do your way and see if it makes a difference on these rom3's I can't seem to unlock. I mess with the trim pot alot, I don't keep it at one setting 2.2. Each card I turn up or down untill I get a good ++++----- combo. So maybe messing with the vcc settings is the key, not the ohms. Thanks for your time in writing this guide :).

Looks great Cid. I think everyone has wanted to throw their modded loader accross the room dealing with Rom 3's at some point. I wish I had your guide when I first started out. It will definitely be helpful to many.

I have had more succes with unlockrom3.vxb than with powersync. I have found that my loader is fairly consistent as far as vcc, delay is another story. I have kept a log of every card 3 & 10 that I have unlocked, vcc is steady between 1E and 27, with the exception of the rom 3 I looped, it popped at vcc= 39. Thats out of about 40 cards. Set the pot at 2.2k, and have never moved it.

Yes I myself mostly only use unlockrom3.xvb Thats why I didnt add powersync to it might end up confusing those who need it..

Oh I forgot something LOL
Some of you might be wondering what the Erasure is for...Its for cleaning the contact on the card..I'll add that later..lol
Ok I edited it a bit added how to use FlashXp aswell

cid where can I get the vcc analyzer.xvb at? I couldn't find it in the files section, unless it is under a different name. I did a search and could not find it on here either in the forumns.

cid, what settings do you use for unlooping? I finally got one of these rom 3's to pop, had to change my trim pot, I think it went to hell

What is the D6-1 flash?????????Are you talking about the eeprom.hex?

In PowerSync V2a there is a flash included called D6-1. Earlier version of newd6, don't know if there is any difference or not.

Geuss I must be blind, or the page is not loading properly but I cannot find the link to download the ROM 3 Guide.

I am also looking for powersync 2a and unlockrom3.vxb

Does anyone know where I can find the WinExplorer script "Unlockallver2a" or any script I can use to open my ROM3 card. In NagraEdit2.0 I get the error message, invalid ATR. Any help will be appreciated, thanks :)

It's most likely looped if it has no ATR

It's in the Sticky in this sub-forum, called PowerV2a. Just got tired of typing PowreSyncUnlockallV2a. If you are looped you might also want to try the Testunlooper program or Penga's R3.xvb(rom 3 unlocker-glitcher3)
