What if you were the only Company on the planet that had a working, Stable Magic Card that could view all Niagara 2 Encripted Channels, what would it be worth? I am posting on this site because I think Mili, is the only person on the web, that has enough respect and trust to possiblably pull this off.
If their is a fix for viewing Niagara 2 Encripted TV, what would it cost to obtain that information, if it is possible to obtain it at all. I don't think any single person or company for that matter, that is going to risk the amount of money that it would take to obtain that information, [which possibiliby may be illlegal, I don't know, I don't get involved in such things. you betcha ]
What if Mili were to start a Donation Fund for the purpose of aquiring enough cash to obtain the technology to develop a Magic Card 3. Maybe Mili could get people to Donate to the cause, to get a card developed, and the people who donated would get the amount they donated, or a discount off of the cost of the card. [ Let the people that say, they can't afford to donate right now, and the people who won't donate, the same people who Magically can somehow afford to subscribe, when Dish and Bev turn off Niagara 1.] Those people will have to pay substantialy more for their cards, because they took no risk, and they should make up the difference in the price of the cards supplied to Donaters.
Set this up like the Magic Cards are now, so the Knockoff Freeloader Vendors, would not profit from your hard work.
I know, I know, their are probably lots of you people out their that are saying to themselves, "Why should I Donate money towards somthing that may not ever happen. " Well if nobody gets together and takes a chance on this, we will all be paying Dish and BEV a lot more money every year in Subscriptions, than what a working card probably would cost.
I know that their are a lot of people out there, I see it in some of the posts in the forum, that think $100 or $200 or whatever a card would cost would be too much to pay, But what does the Subscriptions for HBO, SHOWTIME, MAX, SPORTS, and all the PPV's cost per month, I think a Magic Card is CHEAP, for what you get compared, to what you would have to pay Dish or Bev every month for the same programs.
Maybe this won't work out, but haven't we all spent money on things we thought would bring us enjoyment, but didn't, a Magic Card 3, would bring most all of us enjoyment, almost every day, all year long if we chose todo so. There are a lot of us Hard Core Testers that would rather pay for Magic Cards even if the cards cost almost as much as Subscribing, the fun is in Testing not free TV.
You Mili are in a position toknow the number of card buyers there are, have contacts with the right people, and possibily have some idea what a fix would cost. If you would be interested, try and let us know how much money would be needed in individual amounts of donations to achieve this.
