Do you have an ISO programmer, read the card if you do and it will tell you. OR
To find out what ROM type you have, you will need a receiver and a TV, or refer to the list below.
To use a TV, put the card in the receiver and turn it on. Press the system info button on your remote (if you don't have that button look in the menu for system info) a screen should appear like this:

MODEL ID: 2700 (Your receiver's Model)
RECEIVER CA ID: R00xxxxxxxx-xx
SMART CARD CA ID: S0xxxxxxxxx-xx
(Card Rom version) => DNASP003 Rev 3xx <== software version

DNASP002 is a ROM 2 card - 288-01 Programmable, cannot be "locked" by BEV or DishNet but can be looped.

A DNASP003 is a ROM 3 card, the best one to have, programmable and repairable when reliable public E3M's are available. Also works with an AVR.
It may be MARKED by improper unlocking if is was locked previously by an update.

DNASP010 is a ROM 10 card. CLICK HERE to see what is used to program them, even though actual files applied may be different from DishNet to BEV, the steps are the same. Always ask on my forums what files are the latest. It can hold a lot more channel "tiers" than a ROM 3 card.

DNASP011 is a ROM 11 card. Please ask on my forums to see what is used to program them.

To manually identify the card you have, just look in the lower right hand corner of the card on the side with the gold contacts. There, you should find in very small print, one of the following numbers.

Card / ROM version
288-01..... ROM2
