All I know is for some reason i could not logon the other day to cardcoders, and now that i can again the N2 Discusions Boards are no longer visable to me
and apperently others .. tooo bad all i know it that is was really starting
to spark my interest especially when they were talking about maybe
trying to dump the Rom101 or Rom102 out of one of those camless
recievers to try and disassemble it and maybe figure out something
to emulate or crack .. sounded like a good idea to me i was all ready and
willing to buy a few of those camless recievers and break one open
myself.. and who knows i may still do that..

They put everybody with less than 20 posts on probation and monitored posts.
There were some errors with old members that did not post a lot and they are working on fixing any 'slights'
see the explanation on that site.
Getting rid of free TV's ers and trying to catch company spies.

I think they have went underground with whatever they had. I'm not suprised. There is a ethical issue and of course financial issue for going underground. Most of those top dogs there have coding experience that would lose most of us. I consider myself a tool user, with a very good understanding of the tools and how to use them, and I have tried my hand at some development and didn't get jack, with many hrs involved. I can see where they wouldn't want to share with every free tver on the planet. They seem to have disdane for the majority of those that can't compile their own code. That is their right to do so. There are others that avr working on this night and day and I believe that it will be something coming out soon, probably a hardware emu like majic or avr if I had to guess , it will probably be embeded and some kind of protection to keep prying eyes out. Be patient it will come there is too much money in it for the dealers for it not to.

Well you never know, there are forums there that you have to have a certain number of posts or a certain amount of knowledge to even see and know they are there let alone read.
And there may be more layers below that too. Only those authorized to see them even know they are there.
Yes money is a possibility, they have worked so hard for so long they deserve to make some money out of it even though most of them do it as a 'hobby'.
Writing code gets into your blood just like cracking coding does.
And it does not lend itself to amaturs, there is a lot of studying to do before you even know what those lines mean. A little privacy is needed.
IT may not be that easy, there have already been several changes, too many revisions, I think to compensate for existing hacks of the early tries like rom 101

Sj,
You could be right because i usually just look around and read becuase
my main expierance is Electronics, i know verl little about codeing, although
i have had some expierance in the Older days when VC2 and VCII+ were around
but i would not have any problem with being banned because i don't post much
everything i read helps me to understand.. but i am still going to try and
remove then embedded chip from a cardless reciever and see if i can dump it
like i said my main thang is electronics, i have been working with mico's and
eproms and eeroms every since the 2708 days and the intel 4004 and have
got some really good risc expierance .. so i am hopeing to help gather
more information for the cause of just gaining knowledge...

Well just go there and introduce yourself and start reading, you have to have 20 posts before you can see some of the forum. Which means you have to make inteligent posts, or crafty posts that will be accepted. No free TV questions.
They had a problem with stupid posts in tech forums so they got rid of the pests but some people who read a lot and did not post much got caught in the clean up.
Those people just have to get with the mods and get re-instated if they are old hands.
It is always a problem to get rid of the problems without catching some good people by accident and they said they are working on making it right.
CC is a high level place with all the brains over there.
Not a help me get free TV site like this.

I've written code. It's not easy...(pencil and paper stuff)...But I can't use that much brain all the time just like reading about it. I think one time over the last year I made a comment ,Not even a free tv question...Banned...?

Maybe just deleted as inactive ?
Some people had to re-register with new nicks.
And remind the mods they were nice people to put them back on.
They threw the baby out with the bath water, hehehe
Pencil and paper ? Writers cramp for sure I use a computer thousands of lines to type is bad enough by typing, to write it long hand then type it, no way jose

I have always avoided doing some coding because each time I try I screw up something or gotten just a few things right. I am willing to learn all over again. I think it is because it is all about getting together for the ultimate cause. I read a lot and apply what I learn in order to help others. I truly beleive that if you give a man a fish a day he will continually come back to you for more, but if you teach him to fish for himself he will sustain himself for a long time. I will encourage all BEGINNERS to read and learn as much as you possible can. and to all the KNOW HOWS point us in the right direction to get the tools necessary to start scripting/coding. It's a long hard road ahead for all, even you advance coders, so you can well imagine the task for beginners, but with a little help, lots of hard work, time, perseverance and patience we can attain great heights. Sorry for the long post but I thing it about time I made some serious contibution to the cause.

Hi, they are truly throwing the baby out with the bathwater. I attempted to put one post on there with a pic asking to have them identify a t911 loader I had. I got a reply look for it. That attempted post was 6 months ago, think they just deleted anybody who has not made posts
