Help - Stuck On Boot

Well I think I really blew it this time.

I can not even get my receiver to start now. I loaded up a channel list on ftlink and wrote it with write user data. OOPS - now it wont even boot up!

Is there any possible way to fix this or do I need to get a new receiver ??? :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry:

ps. its a stealth 2000a apparently the same as max 2000 digiwave 6800's and lava 2600

when i turn on - it just says boot and i cant even get a connection obviously to change any programming i did?????

do i need to buy a dish or anyone know how i can fix this? tried unplugging - turning off and on etc etc

found these instructions and it worked if anyone else has same problem

Try FTLink but do not press the "Setup COM" but hit the "Update Software" right away!
Now select the proper .bin and then "Turn the power off for 5 sec and back on"
Now it will take a auto up load.
The problem is ones you select the 240 program you can not go back to the 1.84 or 1.87
So you have to re load xxxxx-240.bin and then the "Write factory data" !
And all is corect.
When loading xxxx-1.84.bin or 1.87 you can make it work if you do not down load the "Write factory data" but let the machine learn its own. You can not download it make changes because as soon as you upload a .TXT file with 1.84/87 afther having loaded 240 ones you receiver will hang or Boot all day!
