Ground that, Then enter jkeys. Now before entering programming part of jkeys unplug the receivers ac power and plug back in, Now within 3 seconds enter flash programming in Jkeys. You should get in now.

You should not be getting a DCU peak if you are grounding R79 properly. You also don't have to unplug your receiver when going into flash programming. I have never done it and as long as you've grounded R79 properly you never have to.
There is something else that's wrong with what you are doing. The way I ground R79 is to solder an alligator clip to one end of my 24 guage wire and the other goes to pad R79, so when I need to ground, all you do is attach the clip to the IRD casing.
I've been reading your posts and you've been having alot of problems with these 013s. My advice is to buy a JTAG and not make one. You'll probably have less problems.

I ground R79 to an even numbered jtag point, it is very close, just solder a small piece of wire between the two, you got it.
If you read the screen when entering flash programming in jkeys, it says to EITHER reboot the receiver or hold boot source low..........grounding R79 does the latter.........rebooting is NOT nescessary when R79 is grounded.
