Dishnet Card Swap hits next door that is a fact. They had a 301-010 with a blue rom 10. Most people I know that have been swapped out have changed something adding locals superdish wanting a pvr ect. This was just because
I think this thing is going faster than you people know. Canada may take a short time but USA is going to be fast. A personal thanks goes to whom ever working N2 or P4.

I was checking here in Canada and the people that I know who subscribe to charlie did not get there new card. Ontop of there monthly fee they pay over $70.00 per year to sub to charlie. Can't see charlie giving up that money without switching there card.

I heard there are over 30,000 people in the US that sup to bev. It is not that much to charlie but to bev, that is alot of sups to lose. Does anybody know if bev is in the process of switching there cards.

if you have a sub to bev and your ird(s) don't have the new purple rom 102's or the internal imbedded smart card (like on the new 3200, 5200, or 6100 ird's) you will be getting your new card(s) in the mail really soon, i did and had to swap some older rom cards for the new rom 102's

I meant in the USA. What I really wanted to know is has bev startrd swapping the card for USA subs and if charlie has started swapping cards for Canadian subs.

I could not see how they could if most have a PO Box and I could not see them give up the money they are making with cross border subs

As of March 14 2005 some international channels are going over to Nagra2 stream, this means that the card swap is in full swing, i'd be surpised if it goes til September, dont get me wrong i'd like 2 see if last longer but i have a feeling its getting to the end of the road. With the lack of P4 P5 progress and no signs of Nagra2 progress it may be the start of the dry season, or pay as u go (sub)

I dont tink that bev or dish authorize subing out of country (lol) If they knew thew would shut you down.A lot of people have relatives in canada or vice versa that's how they activated them.And the only reason that some companies can activate cards is because they deal with a dishnet dealerin the states that i know for a fact.The card swap is eminent.Bell by mid april and dish by feb 06 they give you a couple of weeks notice and if you don't receive the card in the mail u need to call them

yes, i too believe that it wont last mush past april or may, even if they dont get rid of all the channels, they will get rid of all the cool stuff and leave the regular channels that you can see with rabbit ears for the end, dont kid yourselves the writing is on the wall for all to read
