Mostly locals on Sat 105 your Dish should work but you will need a KU Band Lnb to get the signal though..... :)

no crow... a standarD 18" wont do it...get yourself a nice 30" to 40" dish....[go for the larger]...and a linear ku lnb along with your dishnet lnbs and youll be setup...i think the biggest arc you can cover without having to motorize is 40 degrees

The low power KU band DN satellites (121 and 105) require at least a 24" dish a that's a stretch. You're better off with a 30" or larger. The 105 satellite is mainly for DN local channels. They are all CONUS so you can get them regardless of where you live. The 121 has fewer CONUS locals but has a number of international channels. hxxp://ekb.dbstalk.com/dishlist.htm has the complete list of what's available on these birds.

My recommendation is that if you want to get the 105 or 121 that you get a SuperDish. They come with the switch and can be had for $100 or less.

You can also get DN's 148 and 61.5 birds. Th eonly caveat to this is that if you live on one of the coasts you may be out of one or the other's footprint.
