Opening of COM1 was successful
Logging into card
ROM Revision : 002
EEPROM Revision: Rev052
Checking for back door
Backdoor appears to be closed, aborting.
Error reading image from card

I am having troubles opening the back door. Any ideas?????

run bugbuster on it in nagra edit 4.1 and that should get it

I ran Bugbuster with nagraedit 4.1 and when I go to read it. I still get this message. Any ideas ????

run it for the 8000 series what ever it is....8192 set bugbuster to run that many times and it should pop it.............................and i have never seen a rom 3 run lower than rev 372

use ecel or nagra 1.1 its better for the rom 2

Not for nothing,I've had the same problem from time to time. All I did was to unplug the power to the reader and replug it in and tried it again and it was open. Give that a try and see what happends...

The rom 2 is fine now. I ran bug buster and set it to send packets 8192 times, then excel opened th back door. Excel told me to run clean and I did. Now the card works perfectly.
