Ok, I have been looking at this for days. All I can get is a black screen and channel 101. Let me post my steps:
1. clean image
2. entered ird info and box key
3. entered new cam id (same in all 3)
4. black out string 7f all spaces
5. public keys 8ac49693ec795d57 7354b2cd7ba678e5
6. made ppv string and patched it used latest hi/lo to generate
7. patched blocker
8. wrote to card
got message 05 encrytion keys updated
black screen
can anyone tell me what i may be missing?

where is the rest of your tiers?
put more than just ppv..after the checking the current keys and still black screen then

you might have wrong box keys, check em good
no letter o's them are zero's
make sure a six is not supposed to actaully be a b

u got a clean image so I dont see why it would not work so it must be your keys.
speaking of keys have you checked the second set of encrytion keys as well as the public keys??
where you get you clean image from?

not been neede for a while now, If your clean image is a current one then it is not the problem.
I would not wast time searching "decrypt keys" unless you think you have an invalid image.

If you open your IMAGE in nagra edit and click on the data editor tab and in the left box there are 2 or maybe 3 sets (BLUE 7)icon says Decrypt keys.
on the one I am using now the 3rd set is blank
the second set is the one that snuck up on us last time
the first set has not changed since I can remeber.
Sounds like you got box key problems.
where did you get you ird # and box keys?
are they from a read you did with jkeys or is it a set you downloaded from the internet and "loaded" or "wrote" to your IRD?

go ahead and check the files and get the lates patch and open it in nagra and change the HI/LO id's in the ppv string, "you already know how to"
edit your ird info and box keys to match what the ird is so the card and reciever both MATCH excatly.
then double check the new public keys for today.

DONT FORGET to apply a blocker if the patch does not have it built in.

I read the box keys from the receiver. I also backed up the tsop. I confirmed the key is correct. What am I looking for in the blue decrypt keys?

ok did you have to type in the boxkeys on your card,cuz it could have
to do with it if the numbers are typed incorect?or could be you dont have the parity keys layed in either

If you're getting the 005 "not authorized to view this channel" just let the keys roll. It'll come on eventually. Worst case scenario 15 minutes.

They will auto roll on a rom card, just pop it into your receiver. MC1 and 2 will have to have an update sent out to all users.

What tier creator are you using? Most blocker will auto roll all key changes.

in that thread I just linked you to copy the patch in generals post and paste it in nagra edit and test it and apply just like the other patches you been doing.

nope, still not working. If the recevier was hit with an ecm all i would get is blank channels except for 101? I'll have to pull out the jtag and check. Thank you for your help

hey jett if you got ecm'ed this whole time I am gonna have a running shit fit for not checking sooner, cause I started to ask one time, but no I think if you were you would not get 101
ECM = sysinfo screen location ID 0000001
and
error 153 "a serious problem has been detected"


double check the software version on the sys info screen and on the jkeys first page when you open the program.
make sure you got the right software version. if not you have to erase a sector and restream it for update or set the ird to take update without permission

Nope, system info is good. keys are correct. patched with the one you showed. made tiers with the latest updates. still only get a blank screen.

What rom card are you using. If it's rom 3 i'll make you a patch file and all you have to do is put in your IRD, BK, and Cam id and write it.

I would say you are correct with boxkeys, but he also said he's getting 005 nag, this is caused by wrong public keys. I pretty sure. If it was just black screen then it would be safe to say decrypt key or boxkeys.

Still no luck. Now what does laid them out manually mean? I put the in just as I read them. Do I need to do something different?

OK I got it working. Still don't know how. Some one sent me a bin that was ready to go. If I was using out dated tiers but had applied the latest ppv fix would that give me a blank screen? is the latest patch a tier or more like a 3m code to open the channel? Or if I had a bad cam ID would that cause a blank screen? I just grabbed the latest TCFD. Hopefully that will help. Thanks for the help, Jett

thanx I was having same problem with freinds card and by reading this post figured out fix...parity keys.all I did was write clean image to card then write bin and voila no black screen

if you want to pm me ill give you a copy of my good image with corect keys and ppv. also if you are useing a 301 try menu--6--3---info---right--left----tv video button. this will clear out non viatle memmory upon reboot of box.
