View Full Version : What are these micro chips used for?

My brother had these put up before he died and said that they would become useful one day and I am just curious as to what they are used for I know they look like a micro chip with a mini micro chip within them here is the pictures if they will attach.

googled searched the chip number and came up with nothing

looks like the UV erasable eprom chip.

looks like eproms to me, they has a window in them so you could erase them with light

At least 2 of these chips could have been keyboard bios chips from the 8086-8088 era. The numbers match up.

Also another is/was used in a tiger/tigerstop linear positioner
