Dish 6000 receiver using Magic 1 card

I'm using Magic 1 cards with my Dish 6000 receivers. I can't receive info for the "themes" menu? Also, everytime I change channels, I have to wait 3 seconds for the picture to show up. I'm having these problems with both 6000 receivers. Is this normal?

leave PPV as is

see if it works and if you want more channels add them a few at a time
