I had a similar problem with a 301_010 for (1) month. Took it to a friend workshop this morning. He have a very powerful microscope, observed every pin, (saw them as big as a finger), and sure thing, cold solder joints, also, pins not making proper contact. I used a soldering iron to resolder the pins since I could have see them so big. Working like a dream since 9am today. I was ready to call the undertaker for this unit.

I finally was able to download Flash 1 and 2 for my 301.010. Kickenchicken info says erase and write flash 1 first and then flash 2. On this site I read to erase and write Flash 2 first, then flash 1 and finally the virgin eeprom.

Does the order for 1 & 2 matter? Thanks
