510 compatable with legacy dish $ sw21?

I just got a 510 and checking to see if it works before mod. I have a legacy dual LNB dish 500 with sw21. Do I need the DP switch for this to work with the 510? Reason being is I hooked up to stream and it is searching transponders on 110 and 119 continuously w/o acquiring signal. Thanks.

yes it will work with a sw switch, run check switch in the dish pointing section of the menu and try it again.
