Resize seagate HD with USB Adapter?

Is there any utility that will allow you to resize and zero a seagate HD using a usb HD adapter, or do you have to install to EIDE cable inside PC and boot from disk? Thanks.

If the PC will see it as a hard drive, try it....you need to boot from a floppy anyway.....
Maxblst 3 from the file section works fine for segate hard drives....use 160086528 for the new LBA.......works fine......
