Dish 3800 dosn't want to turn on???

I don't understand, it was working before, but the atmega card lost some channels so I put on a new program and now I can't turn on the ird? I can put the card in and the green power light comes on but goes away, and all I get is a black screen, nothing else even when I unplug an plug in all I get is the black screen? What should I do, is the ird no good?
