Hi, I live in Canada and have internet service with Bell Sympatico. The problem I have is that I can visit some websites but not others using Internet Explorer. Those websites I can't go to give me a message saying, "The page cannot be displayed." I don't think it's because I can't go to secure websites since I can check my mails at yahoo.com, but with hotmail, I can open up the homepage, but then when I type my email adress, password and click enter, I get that white page saying page cannot be displayed. And also I can't login to MSN messenger because it says connection to internet is not found. Media guide in windows media player doesn't work, but I can visit most other websites and forums. I tried different web browser( Mozilla), but the problem persists. I called my ISP and we did different things like going to internet options and deleting cookies, etc, and downloading and installing a file off the internet which would disable anything that stops you from going to secure sites, but that didn't solve the problem. My other computer is okay, but this one has the problem.
Anyone of you has had the same problem or knows how to fix it???

No don't have it. I had norton firewall and anti virus and thought it might be causing the problem. But I couldn't disable it because it was password protected and didn't know the password, so I uninstalled it manually. But it just turned out to be a useless effort.
