I have a rom10 that I have to manualy update my public keys everyday. Can anyone tell me how I can make my rom10 autoroll, or does anyone know what would prevent my card from autorolling. Any help greatly appreaciated.

You need a patch to autoroll the keys

Mili's Blocker is working great on 10's and 3's for me. All take updates even if they have not been plugged up for weeks.

The blocker you are using will not process the key changes and allow them to be written.

You can take several options at this point.

Wait for a public blocker that will process the key changes and write them. Means changing them everytime until it's available.

Wait time: 1 to 15 days. And still risky for other reasons. For the most part safe though if you wait the full 15 days and get some feedback.

Change the testing method. Get a modded uplooper/unlocker and run without a blocker.

Disvantages. Can be very tricky on unlocking. Better have a few extra cams when using this method. Just in case. While the success rate is very high. It can go very wrong and deny you a cam. Advantages: no blocker means hits are few and far bewteen.

If your willing to give up PPV and Sports PPV you likely could run without a mod to the cam until the N1 stream is shut down. About the only worry in this case would be selecting a cam id that gets a brand new yellow card and is turned off.

Build or buy a EMU system.

Disvantage to this system:
Need a 1.44 floppy drive. (Dos versions only)
A dedicated computer in most cases. P1 or better is best.
Although software is available to run in windows as a TSR. Those with gig machines can run something like Yvous with no problem speed wise.
Need at least limited electronic assembly experience. (or the willingness to learn it)

Advantages:
No cam to destroy.
Fixes for things like the current key change are fast and usually unnecessary.
Update cam. Test new tier combo's. Test blockers. Do anything to the cam you like or are curious about. No matter how much you mess up your cam, reboot and all is well.
Want to monitor this N1 stream everyone is talking about? A EMU is a great way to do it.

Still want to use that cam trouble free for the duration. Well for a few bucks you can buy a decent blocker that does the job without the twice daily or more keychanges. Go to the store and plunk down a few bucks for Mili's blocker. Bottom line it works. Even at this point it's still a bargin for testing trouble free for the life of the N1 stream.

i used gcsb, and it auto rolled the keys, but it also ecm;ed the recievers. on 5 different recievers.so i had to redo all of them and go back to a blocker that would not autoroll.my rom 3's autoroll just fine, but not the 10's.using same blocker on both.not gcsb.

I use GCSB on all my cards and no one has been down in months and months. Make sure you have the latest version!

I have 4 Rom10's/NoMore64 -- For some reason they have all rolled since 3/25. Before that I had to do it manually.

I have been using TCFD with GCSB on my Rom 10 before all the ECM's started and worked fine. Now it gets ecmed with GCSB. I started using Nomore 64 and have been working fine and rolling. I have the latest TCFD and can't figure it out.
