error at 99% load firmware 301.013

am still having an error when try to load the edit firmware and always at 99% just 1% to finish this is driving me crazy


the error said " error prgramming flash at offset 0x7fffff40 "

what can be the problem ???

Plug it in and see what happens! Are you sure that you have the Vid Mod switched on when writing to the TSOP?

0x7fffff40 is the start of the locked sector, and will require the chip be blank in that area in order to write to it, and the vid mod will need to be active to erase it, and reflash it.
However, that sector is normally never changed anyway, only location 7FFFFFAC needs to be altered. So if that location is already 0000 then you don't need to write to the area beginning with 0x7fffff40.

As stated above, you cant just write to the locked sector. You have to erase it first.

No, just plug the IRD in with your MC, then shut it off and let it update. I don't believe the softlock will do you any good. Next time you need to fix and ECM, just delete Sector 49 three times.

i plug the receiver with the mc2 it download the guide but i only get 101 with guide and no video

i just did that almost 7 minutes and i dont see anything on the screen the receiver is off but i know you are able to see the update if you leave the tv on how long it will take ??

It will only update if a update is in the stream and the keys are right, on a new MC program job the keys need to roll first. turn it on and see if it rolls the keys.
