i did the upgrades/card swap tonight on my bell 3100 reciever, its a second reciever on a legit subscription, never plugged in the phone line since i got it in 2002, and never plugged it in tonight when i swapped cards. i had the ppv slots full with the old card and when i checked it was empty after the swap? is this just because of a new card or did bev download the ppv slots without the phone line being hooked up? where is the ppv's stored, on the card or in the reciever or is it like direct tv and stored on the card?
should i expect a call from bev or am i going to be lucky?
thanks :heads_or_

There is usually a special set of steps to change the cards that moves your sub from one to the other, think maybe you missed a step.

If you are paying for the programs they will give them back if not you will have to pay for them

You mean that you had watched movies but never paid for them.
If so as long as you never plug the phone in they will never know that information is stored on the card and the phone uploads them.
They are now on your new card so don't plug the phone in or you will get a bill.
NO they do not know where the IRD's are if the phone is not hooked up.

right, i never paid for them, but on the new card in the purchase menu, it now said no past or pending purchases, it is clean, where on the other card it was full, anything to worry about or not, wil i be charged for them?

All the PPV purchases are stored on the card. The only way they would know is if you had a phone line hooked up. It transmitts the data thru the phone line-a physical connection. Your receiver can't uplink the data to the satellite. Any card DTV or Charlie is capable of being used for PPV until its full-then it would have to be wipped and I don't know of anything for either sys yet.

Charlie screwed up and you got lucky.
The charges are supposed to transfer to the new card and they did not.
If you want, you can start over, if you call them up and tell them what your charges are and pay the charges as you run them up they can delete them from the card without a phone hooked up.
OR you can start all over and run the new card up to the limit and never pay them but remember NEVER PLUG A PHONE INTO IT if you do.
