you can try to read this thread and see if it helps you.

read here on how to do autoroll for your receiver
http://www.dssftp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42431
also, check here to read more on how to enter pin manually, not sure if this apply for fortec, but might be the same menu system.
i save a copy of this but can't remember what thread it's in. Credits goes to tigert422 for making this "how to" thread.
Listed below is the instructions for putting in the key change manually. Hope this helps eneyone who needs this
For DN key changes on your Pansat, without waiting for the flash fix to be released, here is the step-by-step to manually input the new keys for the Pansats...
Follow these instructions exactly.
Turn on receiver.
Hit menu button.
Go to parental control<OK>, and go to second pin using down arrow key<OK>.
Enter "0000".
You should now be at what is called the "CAS SYSTEM" menu. (top of screen).
Use your down arrow and go to Nagravision<OK>.
You now see the Nagravision menu. Above the Provider Id Number you should see a little light blue box with the word "Polsat". Press your right arrow key and you will notice this name changes. Keep pressing your right arrow key until the name "Dish Network" appears in that window. You have now selected the correct provider.
Using your down arrow key, start with key number 00. While on key number, hit your right arrow key... and you can notice the right arrow key will change this from 00 to 01 to 00 to 01... etc.
What you are going to do is select key 00, and then make sure the key data is the same as what the new key info is you aquired. If not, enter the correct data. Once that is correct... press <OK> and the "Store" light on the bottom right of the screen will flash 3 times (very faintly). That means the key is stored. Once complete, up arrow back to Key Number and right arrow it to Key 01. Again, make sure the numbers are the same as your new key info. If not, correct the data, and when complete... hit <OK> again to make sure it's saved. There is like only one number that needs to be changed, but that one number means everything!
TIP: On the remote, the bottom six buttons (from top left to right) will enter the alphabet A B C D E F as diagrammed on the screen... for entering key data.
Once your key 00 and key 01 data is correct... hit exit 4 times, and watch tv.
Have A Great Day!!
