I now have receiver and card info...

Hello all,

After extensive reading througout the forums I realized that I needed to plug my receivers into the tv (and not the stream) to read what the system and card info is. Here is what I have found:

3700 receiver

Smart Card CA ID= Dont think I should say
DNASP003 Rev 381

Can any of you make any sense of this? I am afraid that from what I have read that these cards may be locked. If so what is my next step? I haven't made any Dish Tools purchases (JTAG, ISO Programmer, etc) because I wanted to find out exactly what it was that I had and exactly what it was that I needed. Any hints, suggestions, and/or help you can give me would be much appreciated...I know that there is a great wealth of knowledge in these forums so anything is valued.

You have what appears to be ROM3 cards. Rev381 are stream locked. You'll need to have them unlocked by a dealer. Once unlocked, you'll need a 3.68MHz ISO programmer. But first and foremost, you'll need a Jtag device if you want to 'test'. A jtag will be your best friend, believe me!

So what do I now...I don't know any dealers. How do I go about finding someone with the capabilities to unlock my cards? Can you point me in some direction? Thank you for you help!
