I know this. I put my 2500a on a dish with sw-21 and found that with some playing around switching from 110 to 119 channels I was able to get the sw-21 to switch eventually with in 5 or so attempts. So the answer is YES BUT it doesn't work good enough to leave it that way for long term use.
PS. I think the quad has built in sw-21's? If so should work same as stated above by going direct.
I have one but didn't try it.

the quad has a built in Sw44 switch , I don't use fta but my friend does ( he uses twhinhan 102g Pci card and a Fortec Ultra) And I am the one who setp them up for him , Intially when i was setting them up at my house I was using my Dishnet sett up ( Duallnb w 2 Sw44 switches) Which is basically the same thing your trying to use , it DID work , however I did not receive all the channels (I got about 75 % of them though, which is more than enuff untilll you can get the right setup , either a DishPro LNB or Legacy using Disqec switch , anyways just though I'd let you know my experience !
